Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to lead strategic initiatives, partnerships, and business operations across ICFA’s programmes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agribusiness, institutional collaborations, and project management, along with proven leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to strengthen ICFA’s industry engagement and revenue streams.
• Manage and expand partnerships with agribusiness companies, government departments, and international organisations.
• Lead project planning, coordination, and execution across ICFA’s key programmes and initiatives.
• Drive membership development and stakeholder outreach within the agri value chain.
• Identify emerging opportunities in agribusiness, trade, and technology for sectoral collaboration.
• Oversee communication, brand promotion, and event participation representing ICFA.
• Monitor budgets, proposals, and performance metrics for ongoing projects.
• Support policy advocacy and industry reports in collaboration with senior management.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture with a Postgraduate degree in Management or Agriculture.
• Experience: 6-15 years in any Agribusiness Organisation
• Strong understanding of agricultural policies, value chains, and stakeholder dynamics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and networking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under deadlines.
